A converted aircraft hangar in Uetze, Germany belonging to Scottish graphic designer Glenn Garriock and his partner Heather is one of 16 hangars salvaged from the British Army. "The aircraft hangars use the original “Nissen” structure covered with 15cm of insulation sandwiched by 2 layers of galvanised sheet-metal. The fronts were laid in reclaimed brick, and the floors throughout are asphalt finished with black semi-gloss floor paint" says Glenn. You can see many more pictures on Glenn's Flickr.
A few weeks ago myself, a friend and a few Cape Town pole dancers participated in a showcase to entertain and raise awareness for those not familiar with pole dancing as a sport. Yup, this is me:
